OUR ROLEX HISTORY

Since opening our doors in 1992 until the present, we’re committed to a culture of lasting excellence, sharing in the founding ideals of the legendary Rolex Founder, Hans Wilsdorf. Our dedicated Rolex Specialists take enormous pride in continuously improving our approach to ensuring each client discovers the perfect Oystersteel, Rolesor, or precious metal Rolex timepiece.

THE BEGINNING

Our Founding President, Tom Liljenquist, named our store in honor of his beloved mother, Sophia Jean Lenkersdorfer, who taught English Literature at Washington-Liberty High School until the week of her death from cancer. Her boundless generosity and dedication to helping others inspires our customer-first approach to business every day.

SERVING FAIRFAX COUNTY AND THE DC METRO AREA

As a lifelong native of Northern Virginia, Tom Liljenquist opened Lenkersdorfer in a prime location -- Tysons Corner Center -- to provide convenient access to the world’s most luxurious watches to the residents of the thriving Washington Metropolitan Area. The Tysons Corner Center is a regional shopping destination for residents of Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

EXPANDING WITH ROLEX

Lenkersdorfer strives constantly to elevate your Rolex experience. In 2018, we dramatically expanded our Rolex showroom to set a new benchmark for luxury and to provide a more enjoyable and spacious shopping experience. Our 800 square foot Rolex showroom has a designated private seating area among other features.

THE ROLEX WAY

With Rolex watches at the core of the Lenkersdorfer experience, we hold the values and ideals first embraced by Hans Wilsdorf, the legendary founder of Rolex, close to heart. We strive to provide an exemplary customer experience, consistent with the Rolex Way, for everyone wishing to discover Rolex superlative chronometers across all collections including the Datejust, Oyster Perpetual, Sky-Dweller, Day-Date, Lady-Datejust, Pearlmaster, Cellini, Explorer, Submariner, Cosmograph Daytona, Sea-Dweller, GMT-Master II, Yacht-Master, Milgauss, and Air King collections.
